I feel like having a typewriter would be amazing. To be able to type freely, without the distractions of the internet tempting me to check my Facebook or Tumblr. To write whatever I want, in the spellings that I desire, without the annoying red squiggles of spell check screaming at me to correct it. To hear the clicking of the typewriter’s keys and the ding of the machine when I reach the end of the line, singing for me to move on to the next line, encouraging me to keep going. I’m so fond of the idea of old, obsolescent things. Seeing a shiny typewriter on my desk would be such a quaint site to see.
